The Carnival of Madness show at the MN State Fair on Sunday was absolutely insane, kicking so much ass! Among all the bands onstage, my favorites were Alter Bridge frontman shredding guitar riffs with Mark Tremonti between the songs "Isolation" and "Rise Today," Black Stone Cherry (especially the new songs "White Trash Millionaire" and "Blame It On The Boom Boom"), and hearing four of the first five songs on Dana and Alden's new album The Truth Is... live in concert. I lucked out getting autographs and chatting with the guys in Dana and Alden after Adelita Ways' set. Dana and Alden finished their song "Bad Girlfriend" just as the State Fair fireworks started. A perfect day at the fair all in all! Great job by all.
